Auction #208 - Part II
Item numbers 1278 through 3040 in auction 208
Item Description
Sanrio 1985. See item #2556 for more details on the series. The prototype figure in this lot is "Eel" based on an electric eel. There is a complete figure made of resin. He has separate armored guards on his shins and armored chest plate designed to hold a holographic sticker. There is also a front torso and additional head included. He has a tail that is articulated at his lower back. He comes with six snap on armored gloves with with "electric bolts" coming from them. Gloves are in varying stages of production with some bolts missing or detached, one glove has a chip missing and two had been painted for color tests. He has two handheld weapons with electric looking projections that match the conceptual art. His legs are attached to each other and figure but figure doesn't stand on his own. Items will display Exc. Also included is a color copy of the original concept color artwork with a few handwritten notations. Sheet folded and has creases as a result. Fine. This item is truly unique and one of a kind, anything that could be called a defect is from the creative process of action figure design as it was in the 80s.
