Item Description
3.5x8" yellow paper checks issued by Jackson County Missouri with "Harry S. Truman" pre-printed signature from 1934. Truman served as president of Jackson County Missouri Courthouse in 1934 and these are county government checks issued April 23, 1934 and April 30, 1934 bearing Truman's pre-printed bank signature. The word "PAID" is stamped in small perforation holes at bottom where signatures are largely unaffected and both are much clearer than other examples we've seen. Reverses have ink endorsements and bank rubber stamp imprints. Exc.
