Item Description
All are 7/8”. Peerless set, we believe, ended with Taft. 9 buttons. George Washington, McKinley, and Theodore Roosevelt have tan age but full gloss and color. The other six are clean and NM. The earlier set ended with McKinley in 1901. Covered tin back with vertical pin. Back reads “King Bee/Tobacco/And/Cigarettes/L.C. White Co./Button/Mfrs./Waterbury, Ct.” Included are: Madison, Taylor, Pierce, each clean and Exc. Lincoln has pair of 1/8” tan marks and lesser background age. Both issues are early and scarce.
