Uncle Sam rests his hand on T.R. ‘s shoulder with caption on both button and print: "He’s Good Enough For Me.” 3.5” real photo (no dot pattern) button has black cardboard reverse with sticker “Made By/S.Bunimowitz/22 E. B’way N.Y./By Permission Of The/N.Y. Evening Mail.” The flag ribbon split and has been mounted to red fabric backing with short tape strip on reverse where flag material about 85% split loops over the brass wire holder. From the front damage shows very minimally. Front top brass hanger has cello insert “Inauguration/ Washington D.C. March 4, ’05.” White mark on celluloid at left is as made. No stain and full gloss. Listed as Hake #252 with 2004 guide value of $767.00. Comes with 11x16.5” paper print with blank reverse. Text includes artist’s facsimile signature and 1904 copyright “From The N.Y. Evening Mail.” Numerous but small and light handling creases. Totally clean. Displays NM. A rare pair.
