Item Description
12.5x3.75” deep by 11.5” tall by “United”, c. 1933. Made of white metal with bronze finish. Features figural Uncle Sam holding frame with big raised FDR profile while below is sail boat inscribed “Roosevelt” on its side. At right is eagle and die-cut star burst above the clock. Very minor loss of bronze color from one egde of the sail, bit off Uncle Sam’s left hand, and FDR’s cheek/eyebrow. Still VF. Cord was damaged and has been clipped so induction motor not working nor does a small light bulb behind the eagle. Easily re-wired. See next related item. From the Mark Furr Collection.
