8.5x11" typed letter issued by Metro Pictures of Philadelphia, PA. is dated May 21, 1921. Nicely illustrated letterhead design featuring Tarzan for the "Amazing Jungle Serial In 15 Episodes." Letter is addressed to Chamberlain Amusement Co. of Shamokin, PA. and concerns non-Tarzan-related availability of Buster Keaton comedy "Scarecrow." Letter has been signed in black ink by Metro Film Exchange booker. Also printed on the sheet are names of four other serials "Lightning Brice, The Lost City, Vanishing Trails, The Invisible Ray." Bottom right corner has .75x3.5" area of moisture staining and lower left corner has lt. staining. Letterhead art itself does not exhibit staining and letter is o/w Fine. Rare.
