Item Description
Original release 38x49" silk-like banner w/tasseled bottom border. Banner was used in the finest theaters to promote the 1939 British film based on the novel of the same name by James Hilton starring Robert Donat and Greer Garson. Donat won the Best Actor Academy Award for his performance in this film. Banner features silk-screened portrait of Mr. Chips. Scattered stress lines and moderate aging to white material. Scattered faint areas of staining. VG/Fine.
