Large and impressive 25.25x38" glossy paper poster issued in 1969 for J.C. Penney's department stores. Poster text reads "Penney's Special Edition With Groovy Kid Stuff - The Catalog You Love - 1969." Proof features Max's classic "Cosmic Jumper" character leaping across psychedelic planet-like design. "Peter Max" name/logo at bottom center. Top and bottom 1" margins are blank w/proof markings. Scattered lt. edge wear, but poster still displays Exc. From the David Baker Collection.
