Item Description
Each piece is brass 1-1/8" with rim hole as issued. Fremont is DeWitt/Sullivan 1856-9 while Fillmore is 1856-4. There is a third matching piece for candidate James Buchanan who won the election. The Fremont piece has his name, portrait and slogan "Free Soil & Free Speech" on the obverse. Reverse has displayed eagle with "United States Of America" around. Only the slightest wear on the high points. VF. Second piece has his portrait on the front with surrounding text "Millard Fillmore For The Whole Country." Reverse has same displayed eagle and text as on the Fremont. Light general wear with a little brown tarnish on the reverse.
