Item numbers 1 through 1277 in auction 208
Item Description
This piece is designed as a stack of four coins 1-3/8" in diameter and 3/8" thick. The piece separates around the center side edge and pills or other small objects may be contained within. Top has raised bust of Cleveland facing left with surrounding text "My Stack On Cleveland." Underside has raised portrait of Stevenson surrounded by text "Cleveland & Stevenson 1892." The Cleveland top surface is without original luster but exceptionally clean and nice brass tone. The underside actually has a good bit of original luster but it is largely gone from the portrait area so there is some tonal variation but no real damage. Unlisted in Hake. A scarce novelty item from the 1892 campaign.
