Item Description
This is a one piece 7/8" cast white metal lapel stud finished in brass luster. No maker's name. Shown in full figure are McKinley & Hobart pedaling their way to the White House. Their bodies are smooth metal with no depiction of clothing, but their heads do have tiny facial detailing representative of their appearance. Some near microscopic loss of brass luster. NM and unlisted in Hake. The Hake 2004 value for Hake #8, the 1.25" button showing them riding their bicycle up the pathway to the White House, is $12,000.00. This even rarer piece opens more modestly.
