Item Description
Each piece is 1.5" tall with an ornate embossed brass rim featuring floral elements. Back of each piece has a metal plate holding the celluloid sepia portrait in place. There is a horizontal bar pin on the back of each. In order is Washington, NM displaying Mint. Bryan with 1896 portrait. Slight loss of luster and a little tonal variation with some extremely tiny craze marks showing under magnification. There is a tiny paper speck off beneath his bow tie. Next is Bryan portrait c. 1900. Pin point paper speck off at the base of his neck on the right. Still displays NM. Next is TR with NM luster frame. A few very tiny and very faint age dots by his eye at left and on the lower left of his mouth. VF. Last is Parker with Mint luster frame. Celluloid has three small brown age dots on the portrait. There is a Taft piece made in the same format that shows up much more frequently that any of these. A scarce group.
