Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 9" tall doll No. 770 made in Canada by Noma. c. 1930s. Box has nice illustration of posed Pete doll on front and back. Side panels show wear w/creasing and 1" tear at top on left and 1" to bottom end flap. Box retains it shape and remains Fine for display. Nicely painted composition head w/original high gloss finish. Very lt. crazing noticeable only under close inspection. Painted body shows wear, mainly at bottom of shirt, which has paint flakes and at waist, which is crazed. "Pete The Pup By Noma - Des. ©J.L. Kallus" chest decal nearly 100% complete, w/only tiny pinpoint flake. Easily stands for display. VF. Much rarer than the Pete doll made by Cameo (see item #1821), this Noma doll is scarce and its box is rare.
