Item Description
Largest size Pete the Pup doll, standing 11.75" tall. c. 1930s. Unmarked but most likely by Cameo or Ideal. First Pete doll we've seen w/plush tail tuft. Nicely painted composition head shows typical crazing and moderate paint wear to nose. All wooden body w/jointed arms/legs. Scattered paint wear w/some small flakes off. "Pete - Des. & Copyright By J.L. Kallus" decal on chest shows wear w/scattered flaking, about 80% remaining. Easily stands for display. Fine overall. See Pete Noma doll #1820.
