Item Description
See Tom Oreb bio in #2002. All are c. 1939-1940. Each is lead and colored pencil on sheets of 10x12” animation paper. First has 7.5x12” image area w/Oreb floating on surfboard as serious duck catches fish nearby. Second has 8.5x11.25” image area w/Oreb as a dolphin swimming w/school of Dolphins next to shark who is holding hammer. Third has 6.5x11.25” image area w/Oreb body surfing as girl watches. Fourth has 8.5x11.5” image area w/Oreb in rowboat watching man holding fish being lifted onto dock by crane. Caption reads “ The Rescue Of A Sick Whale At Newport Harbor- 1939”. Three sheets have folds, likely as mailed. Fine/VF overall. Well drawn and funny.
