Item Description
See Tom Oreb bio in #2002. Both are c.1939-1940 sheets of animation paper attached to cardboard done for first wife. First has 7.25x8” image area in india ink and watercolor. Oreb is holding paintbrushes proudly holding canvas in front of easel w/two hearts entwined titled “Tom Bonnie”. Cat is sleeping at lower right. Dove is flying at top holding “Will You Be My Valentine” banner. Second sheet has 6.5x7.75” image area in lead and colored pencil showing Oreb and his wife in entwined hearts surrounded by smaller hearts as cupid aims arrow at her and dove flies nearby. Titled “Will You Be My Valentine?”. Both will frame to Exc. appearance. Well drawn.
