Item Description
Here is a lifetime collection beginning with a Harding button from 1920 and spanning the years into the 1960s with just a few more recent. 103 of the pieces depict an elephant while our single jackass is a 1.5" aluminum token picturing LBJ on one side reading "The Great Society/He Poorhouse Ruined Em 1984." The opposite side shows rear view of a jackass with slogan "Tyranny/Inflation We Trust/Nonsense." Sizes run from .5" to the largest items in the bottom row of our photo at 1.75". The 104 pieces practically fill an entire 12x16" riker mount. Presidential candidates include Harding, Coolidge, Landon, Willkie, Dewey, Nixon, Goldwater, Scranton, Ford and a few more recent plus quite a few locals. The group is overall in Exc. condition. See following donkey collection.
