Item Description
From the same set as #1105. This card is from the Almendares Scorpions subset. Cabrera played in the Cuban League from 1901 to 1920 and was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1942. Of interesting note, he played his one and only Major League game on May 16, 1913 for the St. Louis Cardinals. He went a disappointing 0–2. However, he did make history as he became the first Spanish-born Major League player.
