Item Description
c. 1940s for a WWII folder that was never produced. Pencil text inside cover for “Einson-Freeman Co.”, makers of many classic premiums. 5x9” entirely hand made folder w/leatherette covers has art and text in ink and watercolor. Front cover has neatly cut-out Statue of Liberty w/light from torch behind “Bond-Guardian” text. 14 pages have cut out shield designs glued into place, seven w/graphics. Pocket design in front holds actual unused “10 Cent Stamp Album”. Four pages w/art are designated “Keep ‘Em Flying” at top w/plane silhouettes w/different designated spaces at bottom to be filled in by bond buyer. Captioned art in center includes “For Vacation Or Travel After The War” w/family looking at globe, “For A New Home Or Farm After The War” w/family looking at blueprint, “For Budget Items After The War” w/newspaper sales ads, “Other Valuable Securities” w/hand holding various policies, three others. Bright and Exc. Superb design and graphics throughout w/wonderful detail. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold, accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
