Item Description
2-1/8" with large blue tone photos reading "Vote For Roosevelt/Guffey." Hake #156 but this example has a ribbon. Lower half of button has very slight yellowish tone but this is very subtle and there is no stain. Perfect centering and high gloss complete with Phila. Badge backpaper plus suspended ribbon. Celluloid has small 1/8" hairline split by the collet but this lays flat and does not show at all from the front. The 5" ribbon is in extremely clean condition with just the most trivial creasing. Reads "President Franklin D. Roosevelt/U.S. Senator Joseph F. Guffey/Democratic Watcher." This photo of FDR was used very infrequently. Hake 2004 guide value, without ribbon, of $492.00. A rare coattail jugate.
