Item Description
The two with matching illustration are c. 1944. The smaller is 2-1/8" with a gray background. This has some long but light hairline scratches showing only in reflected light. It still displays Mint. The larger button is 3.5" and this has more of a blue tone background. This is Exc. and displays Mint. The third button is 2-9/16" unlisted in Hake. Likely from 1944. Reverse has metal covered back with horizontal bar pin which caused small raised bump to the right of his head. Button surface has a couple of .25" hairline scratches although these show only in reflected light. The piece still displays glossy and Exc. Three of the very few full color FDR buttons to be issued prior to his death.
