Item numbers 1 through 1277 in auction 208
Item Description
First is 7/8" with St. Louis Button Co. back paper. Shows logo of "State Of West Virginia" with surrounding text "Save Our State Prohibition Amendment/Vote Dry." Mint. Next is 7/8" button by same maker with yellow cord joining die-cut thin cardboard in shape of Virginia. This has extensive text including "Compliments Of Woman's Temperance League Of America" with various statistics about how many people live in the state and how many live in counties or cities which are "Dry" or "Without Saloons."
