Item Description
1.25" with back paper by Wibby, Toronto. Curl has tiny text "For Campaign Literature, Buttons etc. Dom. All Conf. Life Bldg. Toronto." Button front reads "Ontario Going Dry/We'll See It Through" surrounding a pie chart with numbers. Prince Edward Island was the first Canadian provence to enact prohibition in 1901. Alberta & Ontario passed laws in 1916 and this button probably slightly pre-dates that year. Tiniest traces of a little gray age tone on the lower rim. Still displays bright and Exc. Rare.
