Item Description
13/16" litho by Greenduck. A few dots of brass luster off the reverse but the front displays essentially Mint. Pictured is "Michael Karolyi." The slogan at top reads "Anti-Horthy League." Karolyi was briefly Hungary's leader in 1918-19 during a short lived democracy. Horthy led the National Army and in 1920 became Regent and Head of State as a right wing conservative who eventually led Hungary into an alliance with Nazi Germany. This button would date from the late 1930s. Only example we've seen.
