Done for feature directed by Ben Sharpsteen released Oct.23, 1941. 10x12” animation sheet has 9x9.25” image area in charcoal and color pencil. Wonderful full figure of Jim Crow, the acknowledged leader of the crows, full figure wearing derby, spats and smoking cigar standing on tree limb. Lower left has “Return To Character Model Dept.” ink stamp. Sheet has lt. handling creases. Fine. Image area Exc. Superb big and bold design from great sequence when Dumbo learns to fly.
