Auction #208 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1277 in auction 208
Item Description
First is 1-7/16" tall oval reading "Netherlands Day Aug. 31st 1933 A Century Of Progress." Oxidation spotting on metal back but absolutely no stain. Curl has name of maker Parisian. Button displays Mint. Next is large and first seen 2.25" "Florida Day/A Century Of Progress/July 20, 1934." Button is designed as an orange accented by leaves. Light layer of typical oxidation on the reverse and celluloid has a number of very small raised bumps that are noticeable only to the touch. Celluloid has just a couple of 1/8" barely noticeable gray marks mixed in with the orange background but the piece still displays glossy and at least NM. A rare pair.
