Item Description
6-3/8" tall in silvered brass issued shortly after the opening in 1912 of this landmark Indianapolis hotel, now on the National Register Of Historic Places. Bowl of the spoon has his profile portrait surrounded by text "Truthfully A Good Hotel." Back of the spoon has tiny mark of maker Greenduck. Top end of the spoon is designed as a hatchet blade symbolic of his cherry tree chopping instrument. Trivial loss of silver plating.
