1.75" with wonderful color design of cartoon bird wearing fraternal group feathered hat, smoking a cigar in its beak, holding liquor bottle under one wing and wearing big black shoes while perched on a tree limb with sword handle at right. His cartoon balloon reads "I Belong To Ascalon, Where You From?" Below a small sign on branch reads "You Should Belong To Ascalon." Red text reads "Ascalon Commandery No. 59 Knights Templar Pittsburgh PA, 1906." Reverse has W&H paper. Very shallow 1/8" long side edge dent at 10 o'clock, tiny dot rub on extreme edge at 2 o'clock not breaking through the celluloid, and faint 5/16" scratch crosses the beak but shows only in reflected light. Defects are very small and button displays glossy and NM. For humor and color, one of the absolute best of the lodge buttons. We've seen five of these. See next related item.
