Item Description
First is 5" tall fabric ribbon with reverse safety pin fastener. Front has 1" medallion held to the fabric by a reverse bar. This shows a pair of crisscrossed mining hammers surrounded by text "Americana Institute Of Mining Engineers/1889/Colorado Meeting." Metal has dark silvery tone to it and is apparently made of white metal. Second item is 2-3/8" tall. Beautifully detailed figural eagle pin at top with black ribbon below reading "Delegate" joined to a brass fob showing logo of the city and with surrounding text "11th Annual Session American Mining Congress Pittsburgh, Pa Dec. 08." NM. Both items are from the Sen. Dick Collection.
