Auction #208 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1277 in auction 208
Item Description
This somewhat risque, for the era, design by W&H was extremely popular and comes in various sizes and with various imprints. This is a particularly rare version as it is a large 2-1/8" complete with the W&H back paper used only 1900-1912. See following item as well as another example promoting beer #583. Surface has typical and tiny 1/8" very faint scratch lines showing only in reflected light. These are minimal and the piece displays Mint as made. Rare in this size and with this imprint. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
