Auction #208 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1277 in auction 208
Item Description
3.5" ribbon has gold text for convention of "Retail Marketmen's Association" in 1924. Apparently inspired by the vocation of the group the top word on the button is "Meat". Below this is an apple forming the rebus "Meat (apple)Ton 1924/My Friend." Reverse has back paper by W&H as well as their paper label. A small sheet of celluloid is slipped on the ribbon and a name card would go behind that sheet. Cello is slightly concave as made. Bright and clean. Only example we've seen.
