Complete set of 25 litho tin 13/16" buttons. These were sold in the 1930s with a piece of gum in a wax wrapper titled "Button Gum." See previous item. Others in the series include presidents, baseball players, western frontiersmen, Indians and several others. The inks on these were quite susceptible to scratches and dust. However, this is a much above average set. The only wear of consequence is tiny side edge paint loss on Constance Bennett, a shallow dent on Ronald Colman, a 3/8" hairline on Marion Davies, and a gray mark on Robert Montgomery. The other 21 are Excellent and the biggest stars include: Dietrich, Gable, Garbo, Keaton and Tom Mix & Tony.
