Item Description
.75". Front has his portrait and name. Reverse rim reads "Yankee Robinson's Big Show" with triangle at center showing a hand pointed downward with date "1869" and word "Triad." The outer edges of the triangle carry the words "Present/Future/Past." Fayette "Yankee" Robinson went into the exhibition business in 1845. He had a long career of presenting tented dramas in the summer and using meeting halls in the winter. By 1856 he owned what could be considered a true circus. Extremely Fine.
