Item Description
2.75" long. Mirror silvering is 99.8% complete. Celluloid at the center has about 15 tiny craze lines averaging 1/8". They are raised just enough to be noticeable to the touch or show in certain light angles but viewed straight on they are nearly invisible. Depicted are many people on a walkway next to a water area with a roller coaster structure in the background. The park opened in 1906 but we believe this mirror is more likely from 1910 when a coaster named the "Dips" debuted, the first coaster to have dips and drops exceeding 50 feet. Only example we've seen and still displays beautifully. An exceptional depiction of a roller coaster on a celluloid collectible.
