Item Description
2.25" tall cast metal commemorative brooch w/gold luster finish. Issued in 1988 for the 40th anniversary of the founding of Israel. Pin is in the shape of angel w/arms upraised to a shooting star, the star being accented w/a clear, pear-shaped rhinestone. Pin has Dali's engraved signature at bottom. Many artists were commissioned to create commemorative jewelry to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of Israel, and this amazing brooch features die-cut Hebrew letters running along the top of the wing which say "Israel". Exc.
