This Kellogg's premium is from 1948. The adjustable metal ring has a bright silver luster base. Top holds a spring-loaded black plastic jet plane. The jet's wings read "Curtiss/F-87." With the jet mounted on the ring top a small lever is depressed and it launches into space. Certainly on the scarce side as many of these jet planes soared into the unknown. This is an essentially Mint example. Comes with lightly worn but clean and fine mailing box. Instruction folder is covered in creases plus 1" lower edge tear and two .5" tears on the fold line but still totally clean. This paper and mailer are at least 10 times scarcer than the ring.
