Item Description
This die-cut brass badge is among the largest premium badges ever issued and measures 2.5" dia. In the Quaker cereal sponsored 1938 Tracy Club, the only higher rank is a small brass bar pin designating the member as "Patrol Leader." The five lower ranks are listed as a complete run as our previous lot. Members worked their way up the ranks by eating Quaker cereal and recruiting additional members. The 5x7.5" paper that came with this award was titled "Official Dispatch" notifying recipient this appointment is "The Highest Honor I Can Bestow Upon Any Member Of The Dick Tracy Secret Service Patrol. You Have Reached The Top And I Am Proud Of You." NM and displaying Mint.
