While all these color flasher ring tops are original from the 1960s some, after the company Vari-Vue went out of business, were acquired and then mounted on more modern ring bases marked "China" on the prong end. In the order of our photo we will specify those on vintage 1960s bases and those on China bases c. 1980s. In order we have: Jesus/Mary 1960s, Monkees four pictures on one alternating to four in car, 1960s. Three Stooges with Larry on silver 1960s base and Curly on gold 1960s base. Mickey Mouse Club on red 1960s base. Two the same New York World's Fair showing unisphere on China bases, Martin Luther King three different on China bases, Man From U.N.C.L.E. showing both stars on a blue plastic base c. 1980s. Soupy Sales on China base, "Member Batman Ring Club" two the same on China base. "Marvel Super-Heroes Ring Club which alternates to four characters (Spiderman, Captain America, Thor, Thing,) on China base, Dr. Strange on China base, Superman/Captain Action on China base, two the same Superman/Captain Action on blue plastic bases c. 1980s, Green Hornet three on 1966 bases and six more on China bases plus two duplicates for nine of twelve in this set. Tarzan set of six on 1960s style purple metallic bases. Popeye set of four on China bases. Li'l Abner set of four on China bases. Looney Tunes 5 of 16 on metallic purple bases. These are Daffy, Foghorn Leghorn, Wiley E. Coyote, Tweety and Yosemite Sam. Vast majority are NM to Mint and all display Mint.
