Item Description
13.5x17-1/8" thin cardboard window card for 1925 Chaplin classic silent comedy about the Klondike Gold Rush. Card features the classic image of Chaplin sitting in the snow w/a shawl pinned around his shoulders and fur wrapped around his foot as he sits on a pile of snow marked "My Claim." Card was made by The H.C. Miner Litho Company of NY. .25" chip out of right center margin and moisture staining at bottom left corner. Card has had the theater marquee area at top trimmed off, but the image
areas remains intact w/a clean cut across the top. While this window
card is incomplete, we have seen auction results for complete cards in
the $10,000 range. Technically Good, card would display Fine if framed. Rare and desirable window card for one of Chaplin's most beloved films.
