4.75x14x1" deep illustrated box contains three different clear glass ashtrays, each 4.5x4.5x1" deep. The Kemper-Thomas Co. 1940s. Box features lid illustrations of Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy. Box remains tight, w/some scattered age spotting and scattered faint moisture stains on lid. Fine. Box is complete w/cardboard divider insert. Each ashtray has heavy scalloped edges w/decal applied on underside, each featuring a different image of Mickey against different colored bkg. Each has "Mickey Mouse" name beneath image. This is "Mickey Mouse" set No. 2973 as marked on lid end. These sets came in a variety of character configurations. Decals are lightly aged but o/w NM. Nice boxed set. Scarce.
