Original cardboard shipping sleeve contains "Special Offer" cardboard tray measuring 10x15x1.25" deep w/three circular cut-outs to hold "Beetleware" (plastic) bowls featuring the alphabet and numerals 0 through 9 on the rim while interior has image of Donald or Mickey. 12 bowls come w/this item, each 5.5" in dia. by 2" deep and w/four showing Donald (2 red/1 blue/1 yellow) and eight showing Mickey (4 red/2 blue/2 yellow). Cardboard tray insert shows moderate wear/aging, more noticeable at edges. Not too detracting w/bowls in display position. VG. 10x14" cardboard sign has instructions to the grocer printed on its bottom edge showing how the sign should be inserted at the top edge of the tray to form a counter or tabletop display. The sign has some lt. tanning at bottom w/trace insect damage to white strip along bottom. Still displays VF. While the give-away bowls are relatively common, the tray to display them and the sign to promote them are quite rare. Bowls are essentially Mint as made. We have only sold one other display like this in our 47 years, and this example comes w/more bowls. Rare.
