Auction #209 - Part II
Item numbers 1145 through 2874 in auction 209
Item Description
4.25" long by 2-1/8" tall hand-carved plastic prototype for 1960s Marx ramp walker. Yellow plastic w/red painted accents is slightly different design than actual production piece (as seen w/included production ramp walker) as blanket does not have raised "Super Circus" text. Prototype features same moving ears and tail, though trunk and connected eyes seem either stuck or stationary. Underside of foot reads "Erie 3505" indicating it was produced at the Erie, PA. plant. Scattered dust soiling and some marks on tail but Fine overall. Comes w/production toy which shows lt. wear/aging. VF. From the John Bowers Collection.
