Item Description
13.5" long w/18.5" wide wingspan tin litho prototype warplane w/gunners seen at windows on top and on sides. Unmarked but 1940s. Tricycle landing gear and additional wheel under tail and complete w/original celluloid propellers. Prototype was created over an actual production plane w/body being tin litho w/painted accents and wings and tailfins being painted tin. Body has blue bomber paint job w/"61" on nose, wings are silver/red w/MAL NC-234" designation and tailfins are yellow w/painted red/white stripes. Toy has scattered wear w/paint nicks/scratches and left wing has slight bend to rear edge. Toy works. VG/Fine overall. From the John Bowers Collection.
