Large vintage 10.25x13.75" photo on heavy stock shows nice, full body image of Dixie Dunbar, a prolific dancer/entertainer from Broadway and Hollywood musicals of the 1930s. In one of the best-known images of her, her body was mostly hidden by a large Old Gold cigarette box in a series of television commercials that ran 1949-1951. Dunbar has signed in white grease pencil "To - Mr. & Mrs. White - With Admiration - All The Luck In The World - Dixie Dunbar." Lower left corner has some creasing and margin edges shows lt. wear. Rest of photo has lt. handling wear. Fine overall. Signature is a bit lt. in spots, but still legible and signature area remains VF. Great image of Dunbar in skimpy dancer's outfit.
