5.25x7.5" hardcover w/original illustrated dust jacket. 314 pages. Published by Triangle Books/The Blakiston Company in 1944. This novel was adapted for the stage and was later turned into a movie in 1937 that starred Stanwyck in the role of the mother, Stella Dallas. Book has been boldly signed on first page in blue felt tip pen, w/Stanwyck adding "Best Wishes To Ann Rossi" inscription. Dust jacket shows moderate wear w/edge tears/chipping and is VG. Book itself has corner tip/edge wear to covers and is Fine/VF. Pages are evenly aged but clean and VF overall. Signature displays Exc. Interesting signed Stanwyck item, related to a role she was Oscar-nominated for. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
