Item Description
14x39.75" wooden frame w/bracing on back contains 1938 painted tin sign advertising aviation motor oil. The Atlantic Refining Company of Philadelphia, "A Pennsylvania Oil." Great airplane image at center. Vintage frame shows some wear, w/top piece of frame having slight warp. Sign itself shows some wear w/some small scattered indentations at bottom and some scattered paint nicks/scratches. Displays Fine overall. Aviation oil signs are much scarcer than non-aviation oil signs. Great 1930s airplane-related advertising display piece.
