2.25" dia. button w/name of San Francisco, CA. maker on the curl "Star Eng. & Ptg. Co." Button reads in full "Bill Graham-Presents - A Rock/Blues Bash - The Butterfield Blues Band - Jefferson Airplane - Dance-Concert - Harmon Gym - U.C. Berkeley Campus - Sat. Apr. 16 - 9 P.M." Button promotes April 16, 1966 concert. This button has black text on green bkg.; orange and tan bkg. varieties were also produced and all versions are scarce. Small spot of oxidation on metal back but front remains totally bright and glossy w/tiny .25" hairline scratch which is only noticeable in reflected light. Displays Exc.
