Item Description
First is tall 9” ribbon with cardboard on tin stickpin. This reads “Geo. K. Nash/Our Next Governor.” Small dark areas left, right, bottom center. Fabric reads “Ohio/State/Republican/Executive/Committee/Member/Opening/Campaign/Youngstown/September 8th, 1900.” Fabric has 1” vertical stress near invisible and two crease lines. Displays NM. Next is 6.5” tall image of Mark Hanna and text “For Senator/The/Party’s/Choice.” Probably from 1896 GOP Ohio Convention when Senator Sherman became Secretary of State and Hanna received appointment. Next at 3.5” tall is purple ribbon with dark brass bar and dark metal suspension, 1.75”, with real photo cello on each side of Mark Hanna. NM. Last, made same as previous, but 4.5” tall, reads “Garfield Club Banquet Nov. 19th 1900.” Small gray mark over his eye/nose area. Rest clean. From The Senator Charles Dick Collection.
