Item Description
Same design as previous item. 4x11x12.5” tall but in bronzed white metal. FDR clasps ship's wheel in center. Lincoln holds scroll representing Emancipation Proclamation and Washington stands with hand on sword's hilt. Colorful dial has name of United Clock Corp., Brooklyn with animated dial showing The Spirit Of 1776 Revolutionary War trio of drummers and fife player. Drummer’s arm moves to tick off the seconds. Clock winds up and seconds tick off. Issued for the end of prohibition. Titled on the base "Steersmen." Done in white metal with bronze luster. Bronze has lost some shine on Lincoln’s coat at left and reverse. Metal bezel around dial has neat silver re-paint. Dial is clean. Fine overall. See next related item.
