Item Description
First is large 2" white metal with NM brilliant silver luster. Obverse has high relief bust surrounded by his name and the date 1865. Marked under his shoulder by the sculptor name "W.H. Key SC." Reverse shows a broken column with a center shield bearing his initials "AL" with the column flanked by four flags and surrounding text "He Is In Glory And The Nation In Tears/Born Feb. 12, 1809/Assassinated/Apr. 14, 1865." Reverse has some extremely tiny marks in the silver luster along the very outer edge but seemingly as produced. Next is a 1-3/16" tall brass oval with fixed loop and ring. Lincoln is in high relief against a flat background marked by sculptor's initials "H.B.". Reverse center reads "Martyr To Liberty" with surrounding text "Abraham Lincoln/15th April 1865." Beautiful NM luster. Last is .75" with a rainbow patina giving the impression of silver however the piece does not have the ring of silver and may simply be plated white metal. Obverse has bust of Garfield produced the year of his assassination and reverse has bust of Lincoln. Each has the initial "B" on the truncation. NM with beautiful patina. Three high quality pieces.
